Why You Should Never Complain

Dear Mr. Self Development,

What’s wrong with complaining, why does complaining have such a bad reputation, it’s just an expression of the way you feel; isn’t it healthy to express your feelings?

Michelle

Your words are spiritual, and by that I mean they exist in a different dimension, in an eternal dimension, the same dimension that your thoughts exist in, but not in the same dimension that you live in; although they affect the dimension that you live in.

When I say that your words exist in an eternal dimension, I am saying that your words (as well as your thoughts) are not bound by time.  This linear concept of time, which consists of a past, present and future does not constrain the effects of your thoughts and words.  Your thoughts and words can flow freely from present to future and from future to past without hindrance.

If we are willing to accept what quantum physicists tell us today, which is that our thoughts and words effect the outcome of our life; we must consider this concept in the light of our thoughts and words existing in an eternal or timeless dimension.

If your words are timeless, not bound by time, then your words today can affect your past as well as your present.  In other words, what you say at any given point in time can have an impact at any other point in time throughout your life.

Your complaining about your back hurting today, maybe the reason why your back started hurting in the first place.  Even though you didn’t start complaining until after your back started hurting.  The timeless words and thoughts that you released today, could have easily traveled backwards in time, to create a situation for your back to start hurting, before you started complaining.

Time is a creation, it is not really real, it exist only in our imagination; the only thing that is real is the eternal.   Time is not a work in process, but a finished creation.

Our lives are like finished story books.  We see each day turn, as the pages of a book would turn, in a sequential order, but both the books and our lives are finished creations.  Time does not “really” pass within the story that you read in a book.  We may read in Chapter 2 about a character that is at an airport in the US, and in Chapter 3, we may read that his flight arrives in Japan.  In Chapter 4, the character may decide to leave Japan and travel to Australia.  However, in reality, we know that this concept of time is not real; the character doesn’t literally travel through time to Australia after leaving Japan.  We can open the book and see the character in Australia first and then look back a few pages and see the character in Japan, or we could hold both places in the book, and see the character in Japan and Australia at the same time. The book has already been written.  Time does not exist between the chapters; we can go to any point in time, at any point in time within the story.  Albert Einstein said, the only purpose of time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.

Your life is just like a story book, because you exist in time, and time is a creation, it’s all already happened.  If you could look into what we call the future, if you could read ahead, on yesterday you would have seen yourself reading this article today.

So how does this relate to complaining?

Your words of complaint today exist in a timeless world, and are more real than the chair that you’re sitting on.  From a scientific perspective we may even say that the chair that you’re sitting on is just a figment of your imagination, because only the eternal is real.

Your eternal words of complaint today can travel back to your yesterday and affect your today.

If you’re complaining about your back hurting today, could it be that your words of complaint today, which are not bound by time, went back into your yesterday to cause your back to hurt.  If you weren’t going to complain about your back hurting, you may have never encountered the situation that would cause your back to hurt.

If you wouldn’t have complained about falling down the stairs for 30 minutes after it happened, you may have never fell down the stairs.  Your words are always waiting for a time to manifest into your reality (and it doesn’t matter, whether it’s past, present or future).

This is why it’s so important to speak positive words.  Your positive words have created the blessings you have thus far in your life, and they are needed to create your future blessings.  If you keep on saying you feel great, then those words have to come to pass in your life.  Those same words that caused your back to start hurting can travel back in time and stop the pain in your back.  This is why affirmations are so important.

Have you ever noticed that people who always complain always have something to complain about?  Could it be that their words spoken today are affecting their yesterday, traveling back in time, because these words are not bound by time?  I submit to you that your words today can affect your tomorrow, and may have caused the circumstances that you have today.

Why shouldn’t you complain?

Because if you never ponder on those negative thoughts and never say those negative words, they can never manifest into your world.

What’s the solution?

Only speak what is good from now on; your life up to this point has been better and your life beyond this point will be better because of this decision.
